- Well simple, I have read that the cost of adding USB to the motherboard was
- 35c U.S., that devices were less expensive with a heap of supporters (the
- last time I checked before this there was not much support for the Apple
- Firewire, which you have shown in the IEEE version has great support),
- leading to cheap periphials that could be used with the Amiga(we live in
- hope). Apart from that the USB has adequate performance, and I am
- interested in future doing a product that uses it but would have to cost
- less than $100 retail (pref $50) which might have to drop down further. So
- tell me what sort of difference in cost and software complexicty is there
- between the 1394 and USB?
